A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENTS BETWEEN
THE CITY OF MIAMI ("CITY") AND MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED IN "EXHIBITS A THROUGH D," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED,
FOR THE NATOMA MANORS ROVING PATROL SECURITY GUARD SPECIAL
TAXING DISTRICT, CREATED UNDER CITY ORDINANCE NO. 11787, THE BAY
HEIGHTS ROVING PATROL SECURITY GUARD SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICT,
CREATED UNDER CITY ORDINANCE NO. 11476, THE MORNINGSIDE SECURITY
GUARD SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICT, CREATED UNDER CITY ORDINANCE NO.
11460 AND THE FAIRHAVEN ROVING PATROL SECURITY GUARD SPECIAL
TAXING DISTRICT, CREATED UNDER CITY ORDINANCE NO. 11641, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING THE OFF -DUTY PAY RATE OF THE CITY POLICE
OFFICERS PROVIDING THE APPLICABLE COMMUNITIES WITH ROVING
SECURITY GUARD SERVICES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENTS, FOR SAID PURPOSE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The amendments to the Interlocal Agreements between the City of Miami ("City") and
Miami -Dade County, more particularly described in "Exhibits A through D," for the Natoma Manors
Roving Patrol Security Guard Special Taxing District, created under City Ordinance No. 11787, The
Bay Heights Roving Patrol Security Guard Special Taxing District, created under City Ordinance No.
11476, The Morningside Security Guard Special Taxing District, created under City Ordinance No.
11460 and The Fairhaven Roving Patrol Security Guard Special Taxing District, created under City
Ordinance No. 11641, for the purpose of establishing the off -duty pay rate of the City Police Officers
providing the applicable communities with roving security guard services, are approved.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized{1} to execute said amendments, for said purpose.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{2}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
