A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
OFF-STREET PARKING TO PROVIDE FOR THE OPERATION OF GUSMAN
CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS AND THE OLYMPIA BUILDING, FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2005 AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 2006, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,043,280, EXCLUDING DEPRECIATION.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8435, adopted July 31, 1975, authorized the Off -Street Parking Board
("Board") of the City of Miami to administer the facility now known as Gusman Center for the
Performing Arts and the Olympia Office Building; and
WHEREAS, a budget is required in order to properly administer the facility; and
WHEREAS, the budget of the Department of Off -Street Parking ("DOSP") for the Fiscal Year 2005-
2006 to operate the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts has been reviewed by the Board and
found to be acceptable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as is fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Annual Budget of the DOSP to provide for the operation of Gusman Center for the
Performing Arts and the Olympia Building, for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2005 and
ending September 30, 2006, attached and incorporated, in the amount of $1,043,280, excluding
depreciation, is approved and adopted.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} if the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar day
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
