Richardson, Executive Director Date: August 23, 2005 (Amended) Subject: Request for Placement of Agenda Item on the September 8, 2005 City Commission Meeting References: Enclosures: This memorandum respectfully requests placement of an item on the September 8, 2005 City Commission Agenda for presentation of a Resolution to approve the Civilian Investigative Panel's (CIP) FY 2006 proposed budget in the amount of $1,134,482. BACKGROUND Pursuant to Sec.11.5-10(1) of CIP enabling Ordinance No. 12188, the CIP shall submit an annual budget proposal to the City Commission in a form acceptable to the City Manager as part of the annual budget of the City of Miami. On June 21, 2005 and August 16, 2005, the CIP approved the attached FY 2006 budget proposal in the amount of $1,134,482 and respectfully submits same, with attachments, for consideration and approval by the City Commission.
