Subject: A resolution accepting the proposed plat of MAHI SHRINE SUBDIVISION, which is located
at the Southwesterly corner of N.W. 14 Avenue and N.W. North River Drive.
Purpose of Item:
The purpose is for the City Commission to adopt a resolution accepting the plat of MAHI SHRINE
SUBDIVISION and approving recording the same in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County,
Florida.
Background Information:
The Department of Public Works has reviewed this plat and has determined that it is now in order for
acceptance by the City Commission. The specific intent of this Plat is to create one (1) tract of land
for a residential mixed -use commercial/office development to consist of 226 townhouses, 8,825
square feet of retail space and 18, 350 square feet of office space.
The proposed record plat entitled MAHI SHRINE SUBDIVISION, which includes the closure and
vacation of a 10 foot right-of-way running from N.W. North River Drive to the Miami River, is a
replat of the property described in the attached Legal Description. The area platted consists of one (1)
tract of land containing approximately 65,606 square feet (1.51 (more or less) acres). It is zoned O.
