A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID OF
JOHNSON CONTROLS, INC., RECEIVED ON JULY 11, 2005, PURSUANT TO
INVITATION FOR BIDS NO. 04-05-070, FOR THE PROVISION OF AIR
CONDITIONING MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES, FOR THE
DEPARTMENT OF POLICE, ON AN AS -NEEDED BASIS, AT VARIOUS POLICE
DEPARTMENT FACILITIES, FOR AN INITIAL TWO-YEAR PERIOD WITH THE
OPTION TO EXTEND FOR THREE (3) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS, AT AN
ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $67,000, FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $335,000; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE POLICE
GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET, ACCOUNT CODE NO. 001000.290201.6.670.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Johnson Controls, Inc., received on July 11, 2005, pursuant to Invitation for
Bids No. 04-05-070, for the provision of air conditioning maintenance and repair services, for the
Department of Police, on an as -needed basis, for various Police Department facilities, for an initial
two-year period with the option to extend for three (3) additional one-year periods, in an annual amount
not to exceed $67,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $335,000, is accepted, with funds
allocated from the Police General Operating Budget, Account Code No. 001000.290201.6.670.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
(1 } If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
