On February 7, 2005 the Miami River Commission heard the "Miami River Town" Major Use Special Permit, including the proposed land use and zoning amendments, presented by Ms. Vicky Garcia -Toledo, Bilzin, Sumberg, and the project's architect Mr. Aris Garcia, Wolfberg, Alvarez & Associates. The MRC unanimously found the mixed -use development to be consistent with the Miami River Corridor Urban Infill Plan and the Miami River Greenway Action Plan, as it features a fifty -foot setback from the shoreline, including a publicly accessible 20-foot wide Riverwalk, consisting of a 16-foot wide unobstructed pedestrian path and a 4-foot wide passive zone for landscaping, decorative lighting, benches way -finding signage, historical markers and other amenities. Sincerely, Irela Ba_ Chair, Miami River Commission SUBMITTED INTO THE PUBLIC RECORD FOR 1TEMPz.s ON 7-0?8"-0s
