BIOGRAPHY
R. D. Hale, Inc.
Robin D. Hale is a nationally known fire protection and life safety expert who has
provided counsel to condominium associations, developers, architects, engineers,
building owners, and attorneys on these and related Building Code issues for more
than 25 years. As President of R. D. Hale, Inc., he and his staff assist developers and
building owners in meeting all life safety and fire protection regulations affecting both
new and existing construction.
Hale began his career in life safety as a member of the City of Miami Beach Fire
Department where he served for 13 years. With the Fire Department he performed
plans reviews and inspections. He also developed and implemented classes and
training seminars in fire protection and life safety for members of the South Florida Fire
Safety Associations and public officials.
Hale is also a practicing architect who has designed single and multifamily
dwellings and commercial buildings. In addition, he has overseen the renovation and
remodeling of major corporate headquarters facilities.
Hale's working knowledge of architecture and building design, along with his
many years of life safety and fire protection experience, have made him uniquely
qualified to provide building owners and developers with assistance in all fire protection
and life safety related issues.
Hale received his bachelor of architecture from the University of Kentucky where
he also did post graduate study. He is a licensed architect, nationally certified fire
inspector and member of the National Fire Protection Association, International
Association of Fire Fighters and the Southern Building Code Congress International.
Hale is married and resides in Miami Beach.
