HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.ci.miami.fl.us File Number: 05-00659 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWENTY-FIVE (25) TORO ZERO RADIUS TRACTOR MOWERS OF VARIOUS TYPES, FROM WESCO TURF SUPPLY, INC., FOR THE PROVISION OF LAWN EQUIPMENT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION OPERATIONS DIVISION, UTILIZING STATE OF FLORIDA LAWN EQUIPMENT CONTRACT NO. 515-630-03-1, EFFECTIVE UNTIL MAY 20, 2006, SUBJECT TO ANY FURTHER EXTENSIONS OR REPLACEMENT CONTRACTS BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA, AT A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $146,449; ALLOCATING FUNDS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $49,968, FROM THE PARKS FACILITY ACCOUNT NO. 331369.589301.6.830, AND AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $96,481 FROM PARKS OPERATIONS ACCOUNT NO. 001 UOU.580302.6.840. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The purchase of a total of twenty-five (25) Toro zero radius tractor mowers of various types from Wesco Turf Supply, Inc., nine (9) Model 74411, nine (9) Model 74413, one (1) Model 74416 and six (6) Model 74256, for the provision of lawn equipment for the Department of Parks and Recreation Operations Division, utilizing State of Florida Lawn Equipment Contract No. 515-630-03-1, effective through May 20, 2006, subject to any further extensions or replacement contracts by the State of Florida, at a total amount not to exceed $146,449, is authorized, with funds allocated in an amount not to exceed $49,968, from Parks Facility Account No. 331369.589301.6.830 and an amount not to exceed $96,481, from Parks Operations Account No. 001000.580302.6.840. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CO: ` CTNESS: JORG L. F; RNANDEZ CITY TO' NEY Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days form the date it was passed and adopted.
