A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID OF
SOUTH FLORIDA MAINTENANCE SERVICES, INC., THE LOWEST AND MOST
RESPONSIVE BIDDER, RECEIVED ON APRIL 25, 2005, PURSUANT TO
INVITATION FOR BIDS NO. 04-05-029, FOR TURF GRASS MAINTENANCE
SERVICES FOR HADLEY PARK FOOTBALL FIELD, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF
PARKS AND RECREATION, FOR A ONE-YEAR PERIOD, WITH THE OPTION TO
RENEW FOR UP TO THREE (3) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS, AT AN
ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $25,140, FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $100,560; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM ACCOUNT
CODE NO. 0010000.580302.6 340.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of South Florida Maintenance Services, Inc., the lowest and most responsive
bidder, received on April 25, 2005, pursuant to Invitation for Bids No. 04-05-029, for turf grass
maintenance services for Hadley Park football field, for the Department of Parks and Recreation, for a
one-year period, with the option to renew for up to three (3) additional one-year periods, at an annual
amount not to exceed $25,140, for a total contract amount not to exceed $100,560, is accepted, with
funds allocated from Account Code No. 0010000.580302.6.340.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
