A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION DECLARING AN
EXEMPTION FROM THE PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS CONTAINED IN
SECTIONS 36-4(A) AND 36-5 (A) OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, AS RELATED TO THE LEVEL AND HOURS OF NOISE
RESULTING FROM FILMING "MIAMI VICE," FROM JUNE 29 THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 2005, AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA, WITH EACH LOCATION AND TIME PERMITTED BY THE OFFICE OF
FILM ARTS, CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. An exemption is declared from the prohibitions and restrictions contained in
Sections 36-4(a) and 36-5 (a) of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, as related to
the level and hours of noise resulting from filming "Miami Vice," from June 29 through September
30, 2005, at various locations in the City of Miami, Florida, with each location and time permitted
by the Office of Film Arts, Culture and Entertainment.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
