HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-05-0391City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-05-0391 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 05-00566 Final Action Date: 6/9/2005 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $35,000, PLUS COSTS AND EXPENSES, AS APPROVED BY THE CITY MANAGER, TO CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION BYAKERMAN, SENTERFITT & EIDSON, UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF RETIRED FEDERAL JUDGE EDWARD DAVIS, REGARDING THE CASE OF FRANK PICHEL, FORMER SERGEANT -AT -ARMS, OF THE CITY COMMISSION, AS DIRECTED PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 05-0201, ADOPTED MARCH 24, 2005. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The allocation of funds, in the amount not to exceed $35,000, plus costs and expenses, as approved by the City Manager, is authorized, to conduct an investigation by Akerman, Senterfitt & Eidson, under the supervision of Retired Federal Judge Edward Davis, regarding the case of Frank Pichel, former Sergeant -At -Arms, of the City Commission, as directed pursuant to Resolution No. 05-0201, adopted March 24, 2005. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
