Background Information: The City Commission adopted Resolution No. 05-0149 on March 10, 2005 authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement (attached to that legislation) between the City of Miami and RDC for comprehensive construction and design services for the Little Haiti Park Soccer and Recreational Facilities, Project B-38500 under a design -build process. Due to the accelerated timing for negotiations and legislation preparation, the legislation incorrectly stated the maximum amount of the contract as $5,154,911, while the correct negotiated amount, as stated in the agreement, was $5,725,942. Funds in the larger amount remain available from Capital Improvement Project No. 331412 entitled "Little Haiti Park Land Acquisition and Development", a Homeland Defense Neighborhood Improvement Bond- funded project. The legislation being considered today corrects this discrepancy between the original legislation and the backup documentation. Budget Impact Analysis NO Is this item related to revenue?
