Background Information: The City has terminated the Management Agreement with Latin American Gourmet Restaurant, Inc. ("Management"), effective August 10, 2005 due to failure of Management to pay past due monthly fees and delinquent taxes to Miami -Dade County under the terms and conditions of the Agreement. The Property is not currently needed for use by any City department and it is therefore in the best interest of the City to dispose of the Property. Section 29B of the City of Miami Charter provides an exemption from the competitive bidding requirements and return of fair market value when disposing of City -owned property to adjacent property owners.
