HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolutionCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.ci.miami.fl.us File Number: 05-00458 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS, AS SPECIFIED IN "ATTACHMENT A," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,500,000; ALLOCATING SAID FUNDS TO THE CITY OF MIAMI DEPARTMENT OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES, AS SPECIFIED IN SAID ATTACHMENT, FOR THE MODEL CITY -FLORAL PARK STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. WHEREAS, funds are to be utilized for the design, construction and construction engineering oversight costs for the Model City -Floral Park Street Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, said project boundaries are Northwest 40th Street, Northwest 43rd Street, Northwest 19th Avenue and Northwest 17th Avenue, Miami, Florida; NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The transfer of Community Development Block Grant funds, as specified in "Attachment A," attached and incorporated, in the amount of $1,500,000 and the allocation of said funds to the City of Miami Department of Capital Improvement Projects for capital improvement activities, as specified in said attachment, for the Model City -Floral Park Improvement Project, is authorized. Section 3.
