A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID OF
KNOWLES ANIMAL CLINIC, RECEIVED ON MARCH 16, 2005, PURSUANT TO
INVITATION FOR BIDS NO. 04-05-006, FOR THE PROVISION OF VETERINARY
SERVICES FOR POLICE DOGS, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE, FOR A
PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR WITH THE OPTION TO EXTEND FOR THREE (3)
ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS, IN AN ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$20,386, FORA TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $81,544;
ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE POLICE GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET,
ACCOUNT CODE NO. 001000.290201.6.260.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Knowles Animal Clinic, received on March 16, 2005, pursuant to Invitation
for Bids No. 04-05-006, for the provision of veterinary services for police dogs, for the Department of
Police, for a one (1) year period with the option to extend for three (3) additional one-year periods, in
an annual amount not to exceed $20,386, for a total contract amount not to exceed $81,544, is
accepted, with funds allocated from the Police General Operating Budget, Account Code No.
001000.290201.6.260.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
