A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT TWENTY-SEVEN (27) DEEDS
OF DEDICATION FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES, EIGHT (8) EXECUTED
WARRANTY DEEDS AND NINETEEN (19) EXECUTED RIGHT-OF-WAY DEEDS;
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF SAID DEEDS IN THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Department of Public Works ("Department") recommends
acceptance of twenty-seven (27) Deeds of Dedication for street widening purposes in the City of Miarni
("City") as evidenced in Composite Exhibit 1, attached and incorporated; and
WHEREAS, the City requested individual owners of certain properties described herein to dedicate
said land for street widening purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Department finds it is in the best interest of the City to accept the Deeds; and
WHEREAS, eight (8) owners executed Warranty Deeds and nineteen (19) owners executed Right -
of -Way Deeds conveying said property to the City; and
WHEREAS, said Warranty Deeds and said Right -of -Way Deeds have been recorded in the Public
Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida, and by reference are made a part hereof as if fully
incorporated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Manger is authorized(1) and directed to accept twenty-seven (27) Deeds of
Dedication, 8 Warranty Deeds and 19 Right -of -Way Deeds, as listed below:

Section 3. The recordation of the herein above listed Deeds in the Public Records of Miami -Dade

County, Florida, is approved and authorized.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{2}

{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be
imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter
and Code provisions.
{2} 1f the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
