A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), AUTHORIZING
THE ALLOCATION OF 30TH PROGRAM YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,677,768, A CONTRIBUTION FROM COMMISSIONER TOMAS
REGALADO'S CAMPAIGN ACCOUNT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,000, TO BE EVENLY
DISTRIBUTED AMONG THE FIVE DISTRICTS, AND TRANSPORTATION AND TRANSIT
SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $300,000, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $2,002,768, TO THE AGENCIES SPECIFIED IN "ATTACHMENT A," ATTACHED AND
INCORPORATED, FOR PUBLIC SERVICES ACTIVITIES IN THE 30TH PROGRAM YEAR
BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2004; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
INDIVIDUAL AGREEMENTS, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, WITH EACH
AGENCY, FOR SAID PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the Administration has proposed allocations as listed on "Attachment A," attached and incorporated, for
the 30th Program Year Community Development Block Grant funding related to the Public Services category;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section I. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and
incorporated as if fully set forth in this section.
Section 2. The allocation of 30th Program Year Community Development Block Grant funds, in the amount of
$I,6 7,768, a contribution Commissioner Tomas Regalado's Campaign Account, in the amount of $25,000, to be evenly ._
distributed among the five Districts, and Transportation and Transit Special Revenue funds, in the amount of $300,000, for a
total amount not to exceed $2,002,768, to the agencies specified in "Attachment A." attached and incorporated, for Public
Services activities in the 30th Program Year beginning October 1, 2004, is authorized.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized{ i }, to execute individual agreements, in substantially the attached form,
with each agency, for said purpose.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor. {2 }
