Background Information: OMB On November 18, 2004, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 04-0758, guaranteeing the allocation of 2005 CDBG funds to District 5 Capital Improvement Projects, unless funds become available prior to the 2005 CDBG allocation (due to closing of contract) then said funds were to be awarded to District 5. Due to closing of CDBG contracts, funds have become available for distribution.. CIP solicited bids when their plan to use Job Order Contracting was not approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD").CIP has obtained a commitment from a successful bidder that the work will be completed by June 30, 2005.
