AND BLUE WATER MARINE SERVICES, INC., SUBJECT TO ANY EXTENSIONS, BY CHANGING THE FUNDING TERM FROM AN AGGREGATE BASIS TO A RECURRING ANNUAL BASIS AND BY CHANGING THE EXPENDITURE THRESHOLD LEVEL FROM AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $68,000, TO AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $150,000; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM SPECIAL REVENUE ACCOUNT NO. 110021.350124.6.340 AND ANY OTHER AVAILABLE FUNDING SOURCES, SUBJECT ONLY TO BUDGETARY APPROVAL. WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 01-869, adopted September 13, 2001, the acquisition of removal services for derelict vessels within the City of Miami waterways for the Department of Conferences, Conventions and Public Facilities, from Dock and Marine Construction, Inc. and Blue Water Marine Services, Inc., under existing Miami -Dade Contract No. 2550-3/05-OTR-CW, effective through August 31, 2002 and any extensions, in an aggregate amount not to exceed $68,000, was approved; and WHEREAS, the City has reached the aggregate amount of $68,000 and would like to ensure that the expenditure capability is sufficient to handle the number of vessels required to be removed based on funding availability from various available sources; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise said Resolution from an aggregate amount of $68,000, to a recurring annual amount not to exceed $150,000, on a yearly contract basis; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORI DA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Resolution No. 01-869, adopted September 13, 2001, is amended in the following particulars:{1} "Resolution No. 01-869 City of Miami Page 1 of 2 Printed On: 3/15/2005 File Number: 05-00209 Section 1. The acquisition of removal services for derelict vessels within the City of Miami waterways for the Department of Conferences, Conventions and Public Facilities, from Dock and Marine Construction, Inc. and Blue Water Marine Services, Inc. under existing Miami -Dade County Contract No. 2550-3/05-OTR- CW, effective through August 31, 2002 2005, and any extensions or replacement contracts, in an aggregate recurring annual amount not to exceed $68 000 $150,000, is approved, with funds allocated from Account Code No. 110021.350118.340. Section 3. Funds in a recurring annual amount not to exceed $150,000, are allocated from Special Revenue Account No. 110021.350124.6.340 and any other available funding sources, subject only to budgetary approval. Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and the signature of the Mayor.{2} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: JORGE L.
