HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-05-0188City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-05-0188 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 05-00204 Final Action Date: 3/24/2005 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 04-0335, ADOPTED MAY 27, 2004, FOR THE PROVISION OF UNIFORMS AND ACCESSORIES, BY INCLUDING THE USE OF GRANTS AS AN ADDITIONAL FUNDING SOURCE FOR FUTURE FISCAL YEARS, SUBJECT ONLY TO BUDGETARY APPROVAL. WHEREAS, Resolution No. 04-0335, adopted May 27, 2004, accepted the bids of Martin's Lamar Uniforms, for Group 1, (Alternate Bid) and Harrison's Uniforms, for Groups 2 through 9, for the provision of uniforms and accessories, for the Department of Police, for a one-year period, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods, at a first year annual amount not to exceed $950,000, subject to an increase of 4% for Martin's Lamar Uniform for each year thereafter, and an increase of 6% for Harrison Uniforms for each year thereafter, with funds allocated from the Department of Police General Operating Budget, Account Code No. 001000.290201.6.075; and WHEREAS, additional sources of funds may be available and added to the Resolution; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA; Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Resolution No. 04-0335, adopted May 27, 2004, is amended in the following particulars: {1} "Resolution No. 04-0335 Section 1. "The bids of Martin's Lamar Uniforms, for Group 1, (alternate bid) and Harrison Uniforms, for Groups 2 through 9, for the provision of uniforms and accessories, for the Department of Police, for a one-year period with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods, at a first year annual amount not to exceed $950,000, is accepted, subject to an increase of 4% for Martin's Lamar Uniform for each year thereafter, and an increase of 6% for Harrison Uniforms for each year thereafter, with funds allocated from the Department of Police General Operating Budget, Account Code No. 001000.290201.6.075, and the use of grants, as an additional funding source for future Fiscal Years, subject only to budgetary approval. *I1 City of Miami Page 1 of 2 File Id: 05-00204 (Version: 1) Printed On: 11/1/2016 File Number: 05-00204 Enactment Number: R-05-0188 Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and the signature of the Mayor. {2} Footnotes: {1} Words/and or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Asterisks indicate omitted and unchanged material. {2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
