HomeMy WebLinkAboutnotice of public hearingCITY OF MIAMI NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on March 10, 2005, at 9:00 a.m., at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of amending Resolution No. 03-1154, adopted November 13, 2003, which authorized the City Manager to grant a temporary construction easement to Florida Power & Light Company ("FP&L") for the period beginning with the date of execution and continuing until completion of the project but not to exceed one year, to provide for approval of a new Grant of Temporary Construction Easement to commence upon execution and continuing until completion of the project but not to exceed one year, for staging/material storage and laydown/fabrication in connection with the relocation, construction, installation and maintenance of two existing high voltage electrical cables in order to accommodate the dredging of the South Channel of the Port of Miami. The resolution further authorizes the City Manager to execute said Grant of Temporary Construction Easement on behalf of the City of Miami. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning these items. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City Clerk no later than two (2) business days prior to the proceeding at (305) 250-5360.
