As a part of o continuing upgrade of the facility, this project will create a new entrance sequence. The sequence begins with a new point of entrance on Old Cutler Rood, The new entrance will have a stone entrance gate reminiscent of the original estate entrance. The Old Cutler entrance will connect to 72nd Avenue which is the historic approach to the estate. The project will connect the existing bicycle and pedestrian trail on Old Cutler with those facilities on the estate. As the County will control both sides of the entrance from Old Cutler to the Visitors Center they will be able to control the vegetation on both sides. This will permit the recreation of the previous native vegetation.
