REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: Your authorization is requested to present the attached resolution to the City Commission establishing a cap of $5,000 for the event as the Use Fee for the presentation of the 2005 Gold Cup Soccer Tournament July 6, 9, and 11, 2005. The Department of Conferences, Conventions and Public Facilities recommends the Use Fee to be capped at $5,000 for the event. The City will receive a Ticket Surcharge and retain all revenues from food, beverages, and parking in addition to the Use Fee. The event organizers will pay all the necessary costs of City services and applicable fees associated with the event. This event is expected to produce net revenues to the City in excess of $150,000.
