A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAII CITY COMMISSION
ACCEPTING THE BID OF HURRAY FENCE COMPANY FOR
THE ACQUISITION AND INSTALLATION OF A
SCREENING FENCE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE,
IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $7,074.44:
ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE POLICE GENERAL
OPERATING BUDGET, ACCOUNT CODE
NO. 312012,299301.6,830.
WHEREAS, the Police Department requires the acquisition and
installation of a screening fence to enclose the lots underneath
Interstate 95 currently utilized as the Police Auto Pound; and
WHEREAS, the fencing is necessary to secure a Public Purpose
Lease for this location from the Florida Department of
Transportation; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, Invitation for Bids
No. 00-01-085 was mailed to twenty bidders for said service; and
and
WHEREAS, three responses ware received on March 26, 2001;

WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Chief of Police recommend
that the bid received from Murray Fence Company, be accepted as
the lowest responsive and responsible bid and
WHEREAS, funds are available from the Police General
Operating Budget, Account Code No. 312012.299301.6.830; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEM COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OY MIAMI,FLORIDA:
section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the
Preamble to this Resolution arc adopted by reference and
incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The March 26, 2001 bid received from Murray
Fence Company for the acquisition and installation of a screening
fence for the Department of Police, in an amount not to exceed
1,074.44, is accepted, with funds allocated from the Police
General Operating Budget, Account Code No. 312012.299301.6,830.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption an signature of the Mayor.11
