It is respectfully recommended that the Miami City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute the Twenty-third Amendment of the Lee and Tina Hills agreement. BACKGROUND On December 18, 1985, the Miami City Commission, by Resolution No. 81-1231, authorized the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hills accepting a donation of $110,000 for the construction of Isamu Noguchi play sculptures in Bayfront Park. The project was delayed nine years and when the installation process was begun, City of Miami Risk Management determined that the sculptures were no longer considered safe play equipment. City Commission authorization for the City Manager to execute the Twenty-third amendment will provide staff and Mrs, Hills the opportunity to develop an alternative use for the funds. TFS/jrg
