HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-05-0078City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-05-0078 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 05-00054 Final Action Date: 1/27/2005 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION CO -SPONSORING THE "EASTER CELEBRATION" EVENT TO BE HELD AT BAYFRONT PARK FROM MARCH 18, 2005 TO MARCH 20, 2005; ALLOCATING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000, FROM THE DISTRICT 4 SPECIAL EVENTS FUND; WAIVING THE FEES FOR THE POLE BANNER PERMITS ASSOCIATED WITH SAID EVENT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The "Easter Celebration" event, to be held at Bayfront Park from March 18, 2005 to March 20, 2005, is co -sponsored by the Miami City Commission. Section 2. Funds, in the amount of $3,000, are allocated from the District 4 Special Events fund and fees for the pole banner permits associated with said event, are waived. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
