Public Entity Crime (PEC) is defined as a violation of State or Federal Law by a person or Persons transacting business with a public entity as stated in Chapter 89-114, Laws of Fiorida. (b) Policy. No bids shall be awarded to a vendor convicted of a Public Entity Crime in excess of $10,000.00 for a period of thirty-six (36) months commencing from the date said vendor was placed on the State of Florida disqualified list. A Public Entity Crime Affidavit shall be obtained from the successful bidder prior to the final execution of a Public Works contract with the City of Miami. •
