A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF
QUALITY WIRING, INC. (PRIMARY VENDOR) AND 4NET NETWORKING
CORPORATION (SECONDARY VENDOR), PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR
BIDS NO. 03-04-161, FOR THE PROVISION OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS
WIRING SERVICES, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
TO BE UTILIZED CITYWIDE, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACT BASIS, FOR A
TWO-YEAR PERIOD, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO ADDITIONAL
ONE-YEAR PERIODS, IN AN ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $400,000,
FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,600,000;
ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE OPERATING BUDGETS OR CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS OF VARIOUS USER DEPARTMENTS AND
AGENCIES, SUBJECT ONLY TO BUDGETARY APPROVAL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bids of Quality Wiring, Inc. (primary vendor) and 4Net Networking Corporation
(secondary vendor), pursuant to Invitation for Bids No. 03-04-161, for the provision of
telecommunications wiring services, for the Department of Information Technology to be utilized
Citywide, on an as -needed contract basis, for a two-year period, with the option to renew for two
additional one-year periods, in an annual amount not to exceed $400,000, for a total contract amount
not to exceed $1,600,000, are accepted, with funds allocated from the Operating Budgets or Capital
Improvement Projects of various user departments and agencies, subject only to budgetary approval.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
