The City of Miami Commission will hold a Public
Hearing to discuss issues relating to the
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and
other HUD Programs. '
PUBLIC NOTICE

Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction
provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment an any amendments to funding
of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the proposed amendments) to the funding of the
City program(s) indicated below:
1. *Discussion and Proposed resolution adopting the amended Commercial Facade Program policies
beginning with the 30th year Community Development Block Grant Program ("CDBG") commencing
October 1, 2004.
2. * Discussion and Proposed resolution adopting the Commercial Code Compliance Program Policies
beginning with the 30th year Community Development Block Grant Program commencing October
1, 2004.
3. *Discussion and Proposed Resolution authorizing the projected allocation of FY' 2005-2006 Home
Investment Partnerships ("HOME") funds in the amountof $5,110,000 to be allocated to the various
housing activities as listed below; and further adopting the Housing Development Policies related
to the funding of rental and Homeownership Housing projects under the HOME program.

4. * Discussion and Proposed resolution authorizing reverting nine vacant parcels of land to the City of
Miami to be re -conveyed to another developer to be approved by the City Commission at a later
time.
5. * Discussion and proposed resolution adopting a planning calendar for the 31st Year of the CDBG
program and other programs funded through the U.S. HUD.
6. *Discussion and Proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of CDBG funds in the amount of
$175,412 from, CODEC, inc. La Palma to be transferred as shown below :

* The adoption of this Ordinance/Resolution, by the City Commiss on, authorizes the City Manager to amend the appropriate City of
Miami annual Action Plan.
Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Requests
