HomeMy WebLinkAboutresolutionCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.ci.miami.fl.us File Number: 04-01419 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION CODESIGNATING NORTHWEST 51ST AVENUE FROM NORTHWEST 7TH STREET TO NORTHWEST 2ND STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS "JUAN AMADOR RODRIGUEZ WAY;" FURTHER DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO TRANSMIT A COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION TO THE HEREIN DESIGNATED OFFICES. WHEREAS, pursuant to the City Commission directive, the Miami Street Codesignation Review Committee, at its meeting of October 13, 2004, reviewed and recommended the proposal for street codesignation of Northwest 51st Avenue from Northwest 7th Street to Northwest 2nd Street, Miami, Florida, is as "Juan Amador Rodriguez Way;" NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Northwest 51 st Avenue from Northwest 7th Street to Northwest 2nd Street, Miami, Florida, is codesignated as "Juan Amador Rodriguez Way." Section 3. The City Manager is directed to instruct the Director of Public Works to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the Departments of Police, Fire -Rescue, Solid Waste, Miami -Dade County Public Works and the United States Postal Service. Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: 11401 p JOR L.
