A representative for one of
the suppliers of raw materials
said that this year spiraling costs
of cement shouldn't be as much

"There's enough cement pro-

Willy Izquierdo, business man-
ager for Supermix Inc, a Brazil-
ian -owned company that set up
in the US in 1989 and has 11
batch plants in South Florida.
"There are 9.5 million tons of
cement produced in Florida each
year," he said, "making it the
third -largest state in consump-
rica, Brazil and France," Mr.
Izquierdo said. "Many compa-

to be as bad as last year."
Improving transportation in the

"We have locations we man-

While condo construction con-

"For units that are under con-

the orders statewide."
This county is the most sim-

"Miami -Dade County is prob-

the rest of them," Mr. Smith
said. "The rest of them are sec-

has been unbelievable over the
past six years."
