This ordinance is being transmitted in accordance with Rule 28-24.014(10), F.A.C. to determine consistency with the criteria of this rule prior to final adoption by the Miami City Commission. The proposed ordinance will establish an Urban Central Business District within the City of Miami in order to increase the development of regional impact threshold within the Downtown Miami Master Plan area. The proposed Urban Central Business District boundary is identical to that of the Downtown Miami Master Plan. The proposed ordinance was approved by the Planning Advisory Board on September 1, 2004 and City Commission l' Reading on October 28, 2004. Once this ordinance is adopted, the City will follow up with a companion amendment to the Comprehensive Plan in order to incorporate Goals, Objectives and Policies as necessary.
