HomeMy WebLinkAboutPublic Works AnalysisPUBLIC WORKS ANALYSIS FOR VACATION AND CLOSURE OF N.E. 1 COURT, N.E. 30 STREET AND N.E, 31 STREET The Plat and Street Committee has reviewed the tentative plat of "Biscayne Venture" and determined that all technical requirements contained in the Miami City Code Subdivision Regulations have been met and has approved the tentative plat. The Plat and Street Committee has further considered the criteria contained in the Subdivision Regulations of the City Code concerning the vacation and closure of N.E. 1 Court from N.E. 31 Street to 135 feet south of N.E. 30 Street, N.E. 30 Street from N.E. 1 Court to N.E. 2 Avenue and N.E. 31 Street from N.E. 2 Avenue to the Florida East Coat Railway and has voted 6 in favor and 0 opposed to this street and alley closure and vacation request subject to the condition that the applicant records a formal legal document to ensure that 1) 15% of the development site will remain as open space, 2) the site will include a designated "trolley" stop and 3) a public pedestrian access easement will be provided between N.E. 2 Avenue and the F.E.C. Corridor.
