Gentlemen:
At the request of our client, The Royal Bay Group, we have prepared a summary of'our
findings related to the water and sewer services for this project.
SEWER SERVICE
There is an existing 8" Gravity Sewer Line located on Florida Avenue. This Sewer line
already have a 6" sewer lateral connecting the existing building. The proposed project
will connect to this lateral and therefore to the existing system. We have discussed this
connection with Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Department and it is acceptable.
WATER SI:RVICF.S — DOMESTIC AND FIRE
There is an existing 12" C.l. Water Main along Florida Avenue, an existing 8" C'.1. Water
Main. along Virginia Street and an existing 6" C.I. Water Main along Oak Ave. all
fronting this project. The intent is to connect this project to the existing 12- C.I. Water
Main along Horida Ave. This concept have been discussed with Miami Dade County
Water and Sewer Department and to pay Miami -Dade WASD a contribution of $8,487.30
for upgrading the Water Main along Virginia Street from 6" to 12" in diameter.
As a point of'clarification, Phillip Torres. PE of Miami Dade WASD had written a memo
on May 28.2004 stating that a number of additional improvements were to be required.
Thereafter the City of Miami Fire Department did, on July 81h, 2004, a Fire Flow Test and
Analysis for this project and issue a report indicating that sufficient fire flow existed to
serve this project. Subsequently the report and additional information was submitted to
the Development Infill Committee for their review and determination of'the required
improvements. 'The requirements stated on Mr. Torres' Memo were replaced with the
contribution to WASD as stated on the paragraph above.

The In -Fitt committee has reviewed your request and determined that the
developer for the subject property will not be responsible for or required to
install a 12" water main extension in VIRGINIA St.
Please accept this letter as the Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Department's
invoice for payment of in -fill contribution in the amount of $8,487.30 for the
referenced property. This payment wilt be in lieu of a 12" water main
extension along in VIRGINIA St.

verification form is issued.
