1. Subject: Transferring funds to Department of Off -Street Parking
2. Purpose of item: Transferring funds to Department of Off -Street Parking for the
development of a public parking facility located at 2121 NW 21 Street owned by
Goodwill Industries of South Florida, Inc. This item addresses the limited
parking problem by developing a public parking facility that will have
approximately 300 garage spaces which will serve staff, employees and visitors of
Goodwill Industries as well as nearby merchant community.

4. Does this item correlate with the CIP plan or Strategic Plan? If so, how? This item
is in compliance with City's Consolidated Plan approved by HUD.
5. Does this item have any effect on residents within the City of Miami? If so, how?
Yes, this item will not only create jobs for City of Miami residents but it will
provide parking spaces for staff, employees and visitors of Goodwill Industries as
well as nearby merchant community enhancing economic development in the
area.
6. Will this item impact any specific District? If so, which one? The impact will be
Citywide because the jobs created will be for City of Miami residents.
