Re: SoHo Condominium
Sufficient letter — W.O. # 66
Via Fax and US Mail
Dear Ms. Medina:
We have received a response letter via e-mail for the SoHo Condominium project prepared by
Mr. Jackson M. Ahlstedt, P.E., dated September 15, 2004 in response to our comments dated
September 14, 2004. A copy of the response letter is attached herewith. Following are our
findings:
1. A copy of missing July 30, 2004 letter was transmitted with the response letter. The peak
season factor has been applied correctly as requested;
2. The signal warrant analysis is not provided. However, the letter identifies that the City of
Miami may impose a condition in the development order requiring the developer to
submit a traffic signal warrant analysis to the Traffic Engineering Section of the Miami -
Dade County Public Works Department. This is a reasonable condition to be placed on
the development order with the added requirement that the City of Miami should be
copied of this submittal.
We conclude that the report along with the follow-up submittals adequately addresses all the
traffic issues. However, the applicant must submit a complete bound traffic report incorporating
all the revisions that have been performed to date.
Should you have any questions, please call Quad Masood or me at 954.739.1881.
Sincerely,
UiS`Cartbr ion Southern
