A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF BOTTLED WATER, AND THE RENTAL OF DISPENSERS WITH
ZEPHYRHILLS NATURAL SPRING WATER, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF
PURCHASING TO BE UTILIZED BY VARIOUS USER DEPARTMENTS AND
AGENCIES, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACT BASIS, AWARDED UNDER THE
BROWARD SHERIFF'S OFFICE BID NO. 4-1-7-036, EFFECTIVE THROUGH MAY
31, 2006, SUBJECT TO FURTHER EXTENSIONS OR REPLACEMENT
CONTRACTS BY THE BROWARD SHERIFFS OFFICE, WITH THE OPTION TO
RENEW FOR TWO ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS, AT AN ANNUAL
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $25,000; ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR THE CURRENT
AND FUTURE FISCAL YEARS FROM THE OPERATING BUDGETS OF THE
VARIOUS USER DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES, SUBJECT TO BUDGETARY
APPROVAL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The purchase of bottled water and the rental of dispensers with Zephyrhills Natural
Spring Water for the Department of Purchasing, to be utilized by various user departments and
agencies, on an as -needed contract basis, awarded under the Broward Sheriffs Office Bid No. 4-1-7-
036, effective through May 31, 2006, subject to further extensions or replacement contracts by the
Broward Sheriff's Office, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods, at an annual
amount not to exceed $25,000, is authorized, with funds allocated for the current and future Fiscal
Years from the operating budgets of the various user departments and agencies, subject to budgetary
approval.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
