Services of Falcon & Bueno" "Memorial Boulevard Project B-30309" REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: Four (4) Documents RECOMMENDATION: The Department of Capital Improvements requires City commission approval of a Supplemental Work Authorization with Falcon & Bueno selected from the list of pre -approved Landscape Architectural Firms for Professional Landscape Architectural Services to the project entitle " Memorial Boulevard, B-30309" increasing the professional landscape architectural fees in an amount not to exceed $ 33,510.00 from $ 205,500.00 to $ 239,010.00; authorizing the City Manager to execute a Supplemental Work Order Authorization for said purpose: allocating funds from CIP No. 311713 entitle "District 3 Neighborhood Quality of Life" BACKGROUND: The Department of Capital Improvements requires City Commission approval of a Supplemental Work Order Authorization with a Landscape Architectural consulting firm for modified professional landscape architectural services incurred by the City. The original scope of work for design services to the existing project entitle "Memorial Boulevard Project, B-30309" needs to be modified in order to properly address vehicular circulation issues located along the SW 13th Avenue from SW 8th Street to SW 24th Street. Due to the inclusion of the vehicular circulation issues, design modifications must been introduced. Additional professional services are required in an amount not to exceed $33,510.00. The included Work Order Authorization, Exhibit "A" contains the scope of services for the supplemental landscape architectural services for the supplemental work. The Work Order Authorization is additional subject to all terms and conditions of its exhibits and the Professional Services Agreement between the City and Falcon & Bueno dated May 16, 2002 pursuant Resolution No. 02-144 authorized by the City Commission Meeting of February 14, 2002. Funds for professional services have been identified from CIP Account No.311713 entitled "District 3 Neighborhood Quality of Life".
