RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution, with
Attachment(s), authorizing the transfer of Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) funds in an amount
not to exceed $140,158.94 from Catholic Charities of the Archdioceses of Miami, Inc. to City of
Miami Homeless Program for the provision of essential services (temporary shelter, meals, job
search assistance, permanent housing referrals) to the homeless population of the City of Miami.
BACKGROUND:
Catholic Charities of the Archdioceses of Miami, Inc contract is closed leaving a balance of
$140,158.94; this Administration is requesting that said balance of funds be transferred as
follows:
