First Street, Suite 2210 Miami, Florida 33128 Dear Mr. Marshall: IOE ARRIOLA City Manager Pursuant to the guidelines of the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant, the City of Miami would once again request that the Dade -Miami Criminal Justice Council serve as its designated Advisory Board for reviewing the application and making non -binding recommendations. As the City of Miami's designated Advisory Board, it is requested that you take the necessary steps to include a review of the grant on your agenda for the next available meeting scheduled for July 16, 2004, at 1000, at the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1 Street, 18th Floor, Room 18-2. Major Joseph T. Longueira will be in attendance at that meeting, to answer any questions you may have regarding this matter. The Miami Police Department anticipates the funding will be used for the following: Overtime, procuring equipment, technology hardware, and furniture. -- Final Award Amount - $595,496.00 Should you have any additional questions, or need additional information, please contact Major Joseph T.
