Services and Repairs at Various
Police Facilities; Bid No. 01-02-127
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution accepting
the bid of Temmtrol Air Conditioning, Inc., a Hispanie/Miami-Dade County vendor, located at
4215 S.V. 72" Avenue, Miami, FL 33155, for the provision of air conditioning maintenance
services and repairs, as needed, for the Police Deparunent, for one (1) year with the option to
renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, in an annual amount not to exceed $46,840.
Funding is available from the Police General Operating Budget, Account Code No.
001000.290201.6.670.
DACCROLTNII
The Police Department requires full air conditioning maintenance services and repairs, including
parts, labor, material and equipment, for the air conditioner systems at the various Police
facilities, on an as needed basis. The Police facilities are as follows; North and South
Substations; the David Herring Training Center; the Mounted Patrol Trailer; the Central
Headquarters Building which includes the Guard House, Roof Mechanical Room, Uniform and
Mailroom Trailers, Identification Processing area, and Auto Pound Trailer.
The Department of Police has analyzed the bids received pursuant to Bid No, 01-02-127. Thirty-
six (36) Invitations for Bids were mailed and four (4) responses were received. Temptro1 Air
Conditioning, Inc., submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid and is, therefore
recommended for the award.
