Re: Small Scale Development Amendment to the City of Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan
Dear Mr. Eubanks:
JOE ARRIOLA
City Manager
Please find enclosed two Small Scale Development Amendments to the City of Miami Comprehensive
Neighborhood Plan.
The amendments amend the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan by changing the land use
designations of 0.16-acre "Watson Island Tract G" from Recreation to Restricted Commercial, and 0.16-acre
"Watson Island Tract H" from Restricted Commercial to Recreation. Approximately 0.32-acres of land are
affected; however, the cumulative affect is nullified given the equal exchange of land use and acreage of the two
parcels. The amendments were submitted to, and approved by, the Miami City Commission on May 27, 2004 in
accordance with Subsection 163.3187(1)(c)2., F.S. This is the second Small Scale Development Amendment
submitted by the City of Miami during the 2004 calendar year.
One copy of Form RBM-BSP-Small Scale-1, the amendment packages, a future land use map, and the public
hearing notice are enclosed. One copy of this package will also be submitted to the South Florida Regional
Planning Council; a copy of the transmittal letter is attached. Please direct any questions to Mark Dorsey,
Planner. at 305-416-1472.
