HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-04-0512City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-04-0512 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 04-00844 Final Action Date: 7/22/2004 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), ACCEPTING THE BID OF NATIONAL ROOFING/SOUTH FLORIDA, INC., FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED "CITY HALL ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT, B-74201," IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $187,444; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 311010, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $187,444, FOR CONTRACT COSTS, PLUS $33,368 FOR ESTIMATED EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI, FOR TOTAL PROJECT COSTS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $220,812, AS SET FORTH ON THE TABULATION OF BIDS DOCUMENT AND THE DEPARTMENT OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT FACT SHEET, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, FOR SAID PROJECT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid of National Roofing/South Florida, Inc., for the project entitled "City Hall Roof Replacement Project, B-74201," is accepted, in an amount not to exceed $187,444, with funds allocated from Capital Improvements Project No. 311010, in an amount not to exceed $187,444, for contract costs, plus $33,368 for estimated expenses incurred by the City of Miami, for total project costs in an amount not to exceed $220,812, as set forth on the Tabulation of Bids document and the Department of Capital Improvements Project Fact Sheet, attached and incorporated. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized{1} to execute an Agreement, in substantially the attached form, for said project. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{2} Footnotes: City of Miami Page 1 of 2 File Id: 04-00844 (Version: 2) Printed On: 9/26/2016 File Number: 04-00844 Enactment Number: R-04-0512 {1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code provisions. {2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
