A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE CONTRACT AWARDED TO CONDO
ELECTRIC MOTOR REPAIR, INC., PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 00-655,
ADOPTED JULY 27, 2000, AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO. 02-166, ADOPTED
FEBRUARY 14, 2002, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $41,139, INCREASING
THE CONTRACT AMOUNT FROM $118,783.32 TO $159,922.32 FOR ADDITIONAL
WORK REQUIRED FOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI'S
STORMWATER PUMP STATIONS; ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR SAID INCREASE
FROM PUBLIC WORKS GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET ACCOUNT CODE NO.
001000.310101.6.340.27012, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $21,139, AND
ACCOUNT CODE NO. 001000.310201.6340.34039, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $20,000; AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 02-166, TO REFLECT SAID
INCREASE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT,
IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. An increase in the contract awarded to Condo Electric Motor Repair, Inc.,
pursuant to Resolution No. 00-655, adopted July 27, 2000, amended by Resolution No. 02-
166, adopted February 14, 2002, in an amount not to exceed $41,139, increasing the contract
from $118,783.32 to $159,922.32, for additional work required for maintenance services of the
City of Miami's stormwater pump stations, is authorized.
Section 2. Resolution No. 02-166, adopted February 14, 2002, which amended Resolution
No. 00-655, is amended in the following particulars:{1}

Manager's finding of an emergency, waiving the requirements for
confirmed and Resolution No. 00 655, adopted July 27, 2000,
and Resolution No. 02-166, adopted February 14, 2002, is
amended by increasing the contract with Condo Electric Motors,
Inc. for the acquisition of additional maintenance services for four
City of Miami stormwater pumping stations for the Department of
Public Works, in an amount not to exceed $13,9/13.32 $41,139,
increasing the contract amount from $118,783 to $159,922.32
annually, with the option to renew for two additional one-year
periods; with funds allocated from the Stormwater Utility Trust
Fund, Account Code No. 001000.311002.6.670.

Section 3. Funds, in an amount not to exceed $41,139, for said increase are allocated
from the Public Works General Operating Budget Account Code No.
001000.310101.6.340.27012, in an amount not to exceed $21,139, and Account Code No.
001000.310201.6340.34039, in the amount not to exceed $20,000.
Section 4. The City Manager is authorized{2} to execute an Agreement, in substantially the
attached form.
Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.{3}

{2} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be
imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter
and Code provisions.
{3} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
