HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-04-0439City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-04-0439 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 04-00713 Final Action Date: 7/8/2004 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT SIXTEEN (16) DEEDS OF DEDICATION FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF SAID DEEDS IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, the City of Miami Department of Public Works recommends acceptance of sixteen (16) Deeds of Dedication for street widening purposes in the City of Miami ("City"); and WHEREAS, the City requested individual owners of certain properties described herein to dedicate said land for street widening purposes; and WHEREAS, fifteen (15) owners executed Warranty Deeds and one (1) owner executed a Right -of -Way Deed conveying said property to the City; and WHEREAS, said Warranty Deeds and said Right -of -Way Deed have been recorded in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida, and by reference are made a part hereof as if fully incorporated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The recordation of the herein above listed Deeds in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida, is approved and authorized. Section 4. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
