II. PERMITS In addition to City of Miami approvals, permits will be required from the Florida Department of Transportation for site drainage improvements, and from DERM for site drainage. The developed site will have less than 2.0 acres of impervious surface and an Environmental Resource Permit will not be required. III. DRAINAGE Exfiltration trenches or drainage wells will be used for on -site drainage. Drainage Data for Proposed Site: Net Area = 55,217 S.F. Pervious Area = 9,279 S.F. Impervious Area = 47,938 S.F. The exfiltration trenches or wells will be sized to meet the more stringent of the following criteria: • To retain the first inch of run-off from the net site area. • To exfiltrate the peak run-off from a 5 year — 1 hour stoitti. • To exfiltrate an amount of run-off to meet FDOT criteria. Based on an expected hydraulic conductivity coefficient of 5 x 10(-4), about 120 L.F. of exfiltration trench will be required to retain all run-off on the site. The DERM water quality criteria will be included in the design of the drainage system, for the paved areas, roof areas and interior garage area. 20047009.500Brickell. Additional fire hydrants will also be required to be installed adjacent to the site. V. SANITARY SEWERS The average sewage flow from the project will be the same as the average water demand, as calculated above, 126,600 GPD. The peak flow will be 352 GPM±. Existing Miami -Dade Water & Sewer Department sanitary sewer lines adjacent to the property are: • S.E. 5th Street • S.E. 6th Street 15" Gravity Line 8" Gravity Line The existing sewer system has adequate capacity for the proposed project. SOLID WASTE GENERATION Solid waste generated by this project will be collected in standardized on -site containers for refuse and recyclables. Regular pick-up service will be provided by either private hauling companies and/or The City of Miami Solid Waste Department, who will transport the waste to Metro -Dade County's Disposal or Recycling facilities. The projected daily volumes of solid waste generation are shown below. North Miami Beach, Florida, 33162 RE: 550 Brickell 550 Brickell Ave. Miami, Florida Folio # 01-0210-030-1500 Derm No. 2004-0311-0937-4648 Dear Mr. Skiles: ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT WATER AND WASTEWATER DIVISION 33 S.W. 2nd AVENUE SUITE 500 MIAMI, FLORIDA 33130-1540 This letter is to acknowledge your request to this office regarding sewer certification for the above -mentioned project. The closest public sanitary sewer line is an existing 15"sanitary sewer line abutting the subject property on SE 5`I' ST and an existing 8" sanitary sewer line on SE 6th ST owned and operated by Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department. Those sanitary sewer lines direct the flow to pump station 30-0001 and then to the Central District Treatment Plant. That mentioned pump station is currently working within the mandated criteria set forth in the First Partial Consent Decree. After evaluating the proposed subject property for connection to the sanitary sewer system, at this time the sewer system DOES have adequate capacity for the proposed development. Finally, please note that this determination does not constitute an allocation or certification of adequate transmission system capacity. Should you have an questions regarding this matter, please contact our office at 372-6899.
