CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on
June 24, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan
American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purose of designating as a Brownfields Area
the property located at 1960 and 1970 NW 27thAvenue, Miami, Florida, (the "Property"),
which is proposed to be redeveloped into a mixed -use, multifamily housing development
by Aguaclara, Ltd., a Florida Limited Partnership (the "Developer"); further authorizing
the City Manager to execute a First Source Hiring Agreement with the Developer, in
substantially the attached form, to provide for local community involvement during the
construction of the proposed mixed -use, multifamily housing development, with terms
and conditions more particularly set forth in the agreement.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning such proposed
award. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with
respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim
record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any
appeal may be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City
Clerk no later than two (2) business days prior to the proceeding at (305) 250-5360.
