It is respectfully requested that the City Commission approve the attached emergency ordinance
amending Genital Projects Appropriations Ordinance No_ 22451, adopted on November 25, 2003.
BACKQEQDNQ
The attached Ordinance seeks to reprogram previously eppravod fundin among
Fan/lidos Fund sod appropriate additional funding from various sources. The proposed revis olns
include the following:

• APPropriaction of S329.877 of rollover funds which were: budgeted in Special Revenue Fund
by Ordinance No. 12476 approved, by City Commission on Januery 22, 2004. Per the
Financial integrity Principles Ordinance, these funds are dedicated 10 capital improvements
for the City's public facilities.
• Reprogramming of S77,221 from Public Facilities projects being closed out into other Public
i*acildies capital projects in need of additional funding.
• Establishment of a new project in
the Public Improvements". CW No. 326010. Teti p%sect will receive �app opriationsFunde d from both the
rollover hinds from Special Revenue Funds find reprogrammed funds from the projects being
closed out.
Appropriation of an additional $500,000 tt:995 Sanitary Sewer tlonds to complete tt,ttding
for the Virginia Key Sanitary Sewer Project. The original appropriation for this project is
$750,000, hnwcver, the total, project cost is estimated to be $1.2 million,
• APprnprietion of in $18,225 donation from 360 Developers, Ll,C for the C3icentetenial Park
Improvements Project.
• Additional appropriation from unelloctttotf Hamelrtnd Defense/Neighborhood Improvement
floods in the amount of $300,000 for required atruclut111 repairs aft Roberto Clemente Park.
The appropriation is being made to the Neighborhood Parks Improvements Project, CI? No.
331419. For this District 2 park.

• Appropriation of $3,573.92 received from the Miami Outboard Club and $2,805.16 received
from the Miami Yacht Club into CIP 311047. The funding represents each tenant's
respective proportionate cost associated with the City's water line project on Watson Island.
