HomeMy WebLinkAboutpublic noticeCITY OF MIAMI NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on June 10, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of authorizing the City Manager, by an affirmative vote of 4/5ths of the members of the City Commission, that following the conveyance of the City -owned property located at 1390 NW 24th Avenue, Miami, Florida ("Property"), that Allapattah Community Action, Inc., a Florida not -for -profit corporation ("Purchaser"), receive an exemption to City of Miami Code Section 18-182(a)(3), requiring a purchaser of City -owned property to make annual payments in the amount of taxes that the City of Miami would be entitled to receive from the property based on fair market value should the property become immune or exempt from payment of ad valorem taxes, for said property. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning this matter. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City Clerk no later than two (2) business days prior to the proceeding at (305) 250-5360.
