HomeMy WebLinkAboutpublic noticeCITY OF MIAMI NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on June 10, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of authorizing the City Manager to declare surplus the City -owned property located at 1390 NW 24th Avenue, Miami, Florida, (the "Property"), designating Allapattah Community Action, Inc., a Florida not - for -profit corporation ("purchaser/developer"), to undertake the development of a HUD Section 202 affordable housing for the elderly; further authorizing the City Manager to execute a purchase and sale agreement, in substantially the attached form, with a minimum purchase price of Two Hundred Forty Eight Thousand One Hundred Forty One dollars ($248,141.00), pending verification of construction cost estimates, and to consummate such transaction in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning such proposed award. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based.
